probably the best beach along the strip, white sand but strong tide at times. Returned 6 times to this location. good beach bar that also serves food. lovey beach walk from here to the monkey park.

This is a return visit to Kotu beach in 9 mnths. Still great beach to sunbath and just take in the locals fishing and going about their day. Still plenty of restaurants to eat at and have a beer.

Fantastic experience and for all ages. You can never be bored in Gambia, so much to choose from and everyone is welcoming.

Nice beach with restaurants. Beach on Sundays for the locall. Very exiting. All play football , bring their food to the beach and walk around. Nice to be part of ot. Lot of poeple who sell cake, popcorn, fruits and juice.

Very clean wide beach although not many places to stop and get food and drink. Found hat at night ghe wind from ghe Atlantic was very cold.

About 40 minutes , but that is far to long in the searing heat. It's better to get a local Taxi not a tourist taxi because they charge over the odds. If you are friendly with the local people you can get a taxi much cheaper... More

Lamin would be about a 45 minute taxi ride negociate a price for the journey there and back the taxi will wait for you.There are plenty of tourist taxis outside the hotels green taxis.Local taxis are yellow you have to walk... More

it's not far from sunset to kombo the beach is large and therefore rarely congested. it's around a 5 mins walk
