It is a long drive from Harare and probably not with the time and fuel it takes! It is a very large lake and there are many fish in it along with hippos and crocodiles!

Went with a group of friends, despite low water levels we still had a great time. Visited the Dam Wall, Cutty Sark Hotel as well as Carribea Bay

though there are reports of reduced water levels in the lake visiting it is still so enjoyable. Had a very interesting boat cruise across the lake. It was so funny filled. Wished could stay floating, with the cool air and nice view.

Floating on a houseboat on Lake Kariba is one of those experiences dreams are made of. Tiger fishing, game viewing from the water, jaw-dropping sunsets and ice cold gin and tonics. It takes your breath away.

Beautiful setting although can't swim in water because of schistosomasis. Not a massive amount to do in the village bit a nice break from busyness of Lusaka

This is one of my favourite places to visit - it is beautiful and tranquil, with plenty of adventure thrown in. Boat trips, wildlife, island visits, stunning sunsets, balmy evening breezes, great hospitality everywhere. Can't wait to go back!
