This museum is great for young children has just enough exhibits to keep them interested and worth the museum pass. It also gives you discounts to other museums. Some people think they need to visit museums for hours but it's actually the opposite. Especially in this place this is a hands on place. If your headed to the mall this... More

Lots to do here for kids between 2-12, although it seems geared for the younger ones. Nothing really fancy, just lots of different things to try- bubble area, tool area, number area, big play area for younger kids with market, slide, motorcycle, train, etc. Bring lunch and snacks as there are only a few vending machines! There is nice size... More

This is a real family place. We brought kids 4,6,9. All beaches all ages found the place fun. Most the people are very friendly although we didn't see a lot of stuff walking around. It was pretty crowded on the day that we came here. But there was plenty to do and it was really no lines or anything of... More

This is a wonderful place to visit. Our granddaughter have a great time playing in the various rooms. She started with the toddler room- slide, train, construction equipment, garden, post office. She also enjoyed the bubble area, sand play area, craft room, sound room- full of musical instruments, and building block areas. The place is very clean and there is... More

Must be at least 2 years old up to 11 to enjoy the museum. Kids had a ball. A bit pricey ....but my grandchildren are worth it.

Many hands-on exhibits for younger children. For older teens not so much. Someone else mentioned that this is better for children over five and I have to agree. Children between 6 and 11 are the most appropriate and will get the most from the learning experience.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts! We agree, there are wonderful learning experiences for elementary school-aged children. For our younger visitors, we encourage families to make self-guided play the driving force of your day. Watch as your child finds exhibit components and observe how they use them - a powerful learning experience of discovery. In addition to our gallery called... More

There are many activities for the children that are hands on and the kids do not run out of things to do. The parents can enjoy the activities with the kids in a very safe atmosphere. Great experience for all.

I have to say I was excited to go to this Museum. Price is about 13$ a person. There are two floors. Maybe about two hours and you're done. Not much to do the bus area was closed for a party so no entry. The kids running the wooden walk were very mean to the children when they were paying... More

Thank you for taking the time to share your concern. Rude behavior is certainly not we want for our visitors and we are addressing this concern with our staff. We value all museums and would like to clarify, the intent of children's museums is a little different. We are designed to be a place of discovery and interactivity to challenge... More

Was very interesting, museum wasn't great for a younger child. My son is 3 and besides the toddler room he didn't really have much to do

Hi Alayna, We're sorry to hear you were disappointed, especially since we designed the Museum with children of all ages in mind. For the youngest visitors, we suggest you explore the Museum as you would any new space - asking questions, making observations, following your little one's lead. We also offer gallery specific tips on our website, and ideas of... More

One of the BEST places to take children to visit. Spot on exhibitions that change on a regular basis, with plenty of interactive activities for the young and not so young. Plenty of parking and the ubiquitous snack.
