The history of Aviation is well shown and there's a great deal of interactive material. It teaches many rules and for some of the advance children some of the mathematics or physics should have been described. The planetarium show on outer space was terrible

So glad we visited Cradle of Aviation Museum. Learned much about Long Island's history with early aviators and the Hempstead Plains topography that made aviation important here.

I have visited a number of times and attended organizational training functions there as well. Fascinated by the exhibits and presentations every time. Amazing displays and information for people of all ages!

The Cradle of Aviation Museum is a fun interactive museum. It has hands on exhibits. The Long Island Mitchell Field history comes alive here. There is a cafe restaurant.

They still do. Just Google Cradle of Aviation movies. You'll see Last Jedi on IMAX.

I think it was $9.00 to get in and $8.00 for seniors. I don't know about students or a person with disabilities. Sorry.

It depends on you. You can walk through in less than one hour. But you can choose to do some of the many interactive exhibits, or/and read the signage, and talk to docents who are happy to share their experiences and... More
