This is another hidden gem favorite of mine for camping. The Good: This county park is a hidden gem. History (Grey Gardens family orig. ownership of the land) and natural beauty (Long Island Sound) abound. You can camp here for about $40 (give or take)...More

Thinly thing you might hear is a seagull or a fish jump. Oh, the lapping of the waves. My S.O. and I have come to love anchoring off this park for a night away from Sag Harbor and the craziness of The Hamptons. The place...More

Not difficult at all. The road through the campsite goes right down to the water. You will have to go back and park your car though in the campsite.
Can someone tell me the best sites? I assume blue ring because of beach access but I need 2 sites for a big party weekend. Any reccos on exact site #s? Thanks!!

Not sure about individual sites but if you have seven parties or more the group sites are great. Site A is the closest to the beach.
