Felt like I was going through a dirty old house,and they lived there not that long ago! I was unimpressed in the barn he worked in.

The house offers insight to East Hamptons past but it is short and sweet. The gentleman on site was warm and friendly and very talkative. We looked around politely but it didn't grasp us too tightly!

Also the seat of the East Hampton Historical Society, this 18th century dwelling is a museum that has retained the original furnishings of the house. A must see to experience how our ancestors in East Hampton lived in the 18th century.
