I have been hiking around Stone Church for decades. In recent years, local enthusiasts have improved the maintenance and site access. A leisurely stroll along a naturally defined path that eases the transition from field to streamside meander requires no special equipment although I recommend...More

This is a beautiful place to visit any time of year. Although in the winter the hiking is a bit more difficult as it was icy the day we went. Enjoy the hiking trails along with the waterfall.

Excellent paths to walk...wear comfortable hiking boots or good sneakers. Bring some drinking water. Some of the signage was difficult to manage. Follow the water to the stone church or else you may go off to the trails which are steep and challenging.. A great...More

This is a very easy walk except of you can’t do stairs. It is absolutely beautiful. My twins (7) loved it.

The hike to the stone church is not too far nor difficult. The signage is good until you get to the point where several trails diverge. To get to the stone church you stay to the right and walk on a stone path along side...More

It's a really nice walk - you can hear the water coming down the falls before you can see the cave, it's really nice on a hot day to feel the temperature drop as you get closer. It is just a beautiful place to be....More

Nice walk to take for the young and the old. The cave is beautiful and easy to get to, and there are more challenging trails as well.

Not that we ever saw. It is wet inside and you have to skip across rocks to avoid falling in the water. People walk their dogs there a lot. That's the only type of animal I've seen in or around the cave. That and... More
