Darien Lake is a popular destination spot for residents of western NY - particularly Buffalo but also Rochester and points south. Formerly a Six Flags park, Darien has shed that mantle and is now professionally managed by a great team that has recently expanded the...More

This amusement park is not that extreme as European ones. Also, it was first when i rode on a wooden rollercoaster, so it was good experience. Park is clean and the prices are quite good. If you're living nearby better to buy season ticket and...More

With an average daily admission price of $40 + this amusement park is far from a good value. My daughter and I, both Rollercoaster junkies, took a day trip from Toronto to experience the few coasters Darien Lake has to offer. Found a deal online...More

Family outing, all types of rides, fron kids to big kids. Food in park not bad usual park stuff. Cotton candy pizza, Anchor Bar wings. Entertainment, small venues of music, dancers etc. Evening Lazor show with fireworks one of the best.

Yes, there is no public sitting area, but there are lots of benches and tables. The only limit that we have encountered is on alcohol.

If you thinking the genreal area - Akron falls Park is not too far. And of course Niagara Falls too. Close to the park, there is a state park to visit there too - that has a small beach and walking trail
