A must see when visiting NY. Its an hour away from Manhattan but I believe its worth the hike. There is a playground, a park where you can have a picnic, a hiking trail so you can go up on the top of the dam,...More

This place is beautiful. There is a large park area, so a perfect spot to bring a picnic lunch and eat looking at the falls. From the parking lot, there is not much of a walk to look at the falls. No hiking required.

Pictures do this place no justice! The sheer size of this place is insane. An absolute must see destination if visiting the hudson highlands area. You must also visit the top of the dam to see the reservoir and the water flowing over the top.
