Visited the house when there was no light show

This is the first time I got to visit Van Courtland Manor when the Spring Light Show or the Blaze was not going on and it was a full tour of the house. The tour was detailed and informative. The tour guide took her time with our small group and took such pride in the house. We went over the... More

I've only been here for two night time events, The Blaze and Lightscape. There is plenty of free parking and the events are just OK really nothing to write home about. They could do alot to enhance the experiences.

We've done the Blaze a few times and this looked to be a nice family outing kinda thing. If it wasn't for the humid night it would've been more enjoyable. $90 for a family of 4 for what it is........is WAY overpriced.

I've been to the pumpkin blaze and this year Lightscapes. Both are great light shows. The food tent has better winter options then what they had for Lightscapes. The show is great not as many moving items like pumpkin blaze but the fact each thing is made from recycled material is wonderful. I'd go back to both shows without hesitation.

Went for "Lightscapes" and really enjoyed. It's amazing what can be done with recyclables. The kids and the "big kids" in our group really enjoyed it.

I was here for the Halloween Blaze. Although there were hundreds of tourists here, it was well organized and the crowds moved along the gravel pathway in the dark pretty well. I did not get to go in the manor house itself, which I may do on my next trip. Parking is in a large field so be prepared to... More

Very creative and kid friendly. Very easy to get to and staff were very helpful. Cute gifts to purchase along with sweet treats. Fairly easy to walk but wear good sturdy footwear.

I visited there during the lightscape. It was unbelievable. The place was nicely-decorated. It reminded me a little bit of SweetLight in Hershey. I slowly walked around the path. It took me about 1 hour total. What a beautiful theme. I highly recommend this.

After many years of visiting the Blaze each fall, we were excited to experience Lightscapes. Very popular event with a very artistic, earth-friendly tone. The kids loved it!

We went for The Blaze event held every year at this location. It was an amazing venue, the work & time & effort put into this by so many people and a community dedication that was so heartwarming . I recommend The Blaze to all, families, couples, friends, especially to other communities to see how creative a group can possibly... More
