We loved this shop and all of the items were cute. It is much cheaper than the corning museum of glass gift shop and had the same things. It's worth the look!

Stopped by the studio while walking through downtown Corning. We were able to see some of the artists making various glass items. They also have a large selection on display and for sale. What was nice is that the artists actually spoke to us as...More

You can buy their unique items. Not as expansive as the Corning Museam but still good. Part of the Gaffers District. Lots of walking so wear comfortable shoes.

The glass items sold here are made here and not imported which is important for anyone who wants to support the local economy. You can actually see one or more gaffers at their benches at any time. The products available vary between seasonal pumpkins and...More

This shop is far better than the one in the Corning museum because you can watch people working and they only have handmade items - no chachki. The people are very friendly and knowledgeable and have more items than just the ones on display -...More

We stopped in and watched them as they were making items. Very nice staff and they answered any questions you had. They had beautiful pieces for sale.

Spend some time watching the artisans doing their thing. The prices are very reasonable and the work is great! Skip the gift shop at the Corning Museum of Glass and head over to Vitrix. You'll be glad you did.

It is a small place but has beautiful glass items to purchase. It it on the high end of price BUT the glass art works are beautiful. You can see men in the back actually making glass art.
