15 minutes from the airport on a snowy winter day is a wonderful convenience. Although you do have to compare prices sometimes to see if it is cheaper to go to Rochester. My first choice is always Elmira/Corning airport. NOTE: the Warplane Museum is not...More

This is incorrectly listed on Tripadvisor and two places. The airport is fine and will soon begin a major renovation to make it outstanding. The warplane museum is now called The Wings of Eagles discovery Center and is no longer located on Airport property about...More

I like this airport because it is easy to get to and park. The best thing about it the size. Yes, it is small but very simple to go through. They are very vigilant about security but, because of its size, you don't have the...More

Only one Restaurant, but It is clean and spacious with convenient parking right near the Main entrance. The Warplane Museum is also quite small, but quite interesting and worth a visit.

A very small airport with almost entirely commuter service to Philadlphia, Detroit, and Chicago, and twice a week larger aircraft to Sanford and St. Petersburg, Florida. With limited flights and the challenges from smaller planes, the people at the Elmira Corning Airport have gone well...More

We try to combine this with Harris Hill and the Glider Museum. Between the two you cover just about every aspect of flying. It's a good time for the whole family

A gem that is hidden away. Occasional air shows but the museum has great displays and is mall enough to really explore the history there. Take the kids.
