Interesting place but you really have to used your imagination to picture what was once there. Pretty location. Great place to walk/jog, with or without a dog!

The area of WPFP is genuinely stunning, very different to the flat lowlands of home in the UK. Really helped us unwind after a week in NYC

Get off Metro North, or walk to south end of northbound platform to access the trail to the area. It can also be accessed driving from Kemble Ave. It's usually pretty quiet, and you may even see some marsh birds. Stay on the trail, unless...More

Very well restored park with remnants of the foundry. It is a short walk from the town and easily reachable by foot so recommended for those people who arrive town with the Metro North or by boat.

There is a nice picnic area, near a stream in a shady wooded area where the family can chill while others go exploring. I think the week ends it can get crowded so you may want to get there earlier.
