This castle is very well preserved. More than half of the contents are actual antiques from the owners. A great deal has been spent on the renovation and it appears that more is in process. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and pleasant. The only...More

Interesting place to tour, but could really use some basic cleaning. We did not stay here, just did a tour. Our guide, who said he lived there and was a caretaker, was very good. He explained that the castle is now owned by a person...More

Don’t miss Singer Castle on your trip to the Thousand Islands! It is a totally different experience than Boldt Castle. I would recommend taking one of the morning shuttles from Schermerhorn Harbor Marina to avoid the crowds with Uncle Sams in the afternoon. The guided...More

I was finally home for a visit while they were still open. The exterior of the castle and grounds are gorgeous, but the rest was a let down. The tour was extremely rushed and most everyone in my group didn't get to ask questions or...More

Singer Castle is very beautiful. It has been kept to the time period (early 1900's). The entrance is grand with beautiful limestone. The fireplaces are marble and have amazing color (green and pink). There are many secret passageways, which you cannot explore on this tour,...More
