Don’t miss Singer Castle on your trip to the Thousand Islands! It is a totally different experience than Boldt Castle. I would recommend taking one of the morning shuttles from Schermerhorn Harbor Marina to avoid the crowds with Uncle Sams in the afternoon.

I believe they are open from around mid-May to late October ~ it does depend on the weather. You would also need to coordinate if a boat is needed to get to the island as the various tour boats also run on specific schedules dependent on the weather.
