One of the best Lobster Rolls I ever had and I've had plenty of them. Next time I want yo try the scallops. No frills place but good place for lunch n dinner. Also serves ice cream.

Town has several shops (i.e.; clothing, gifts) and restaurants. Skeanateales Lake is pretty. You can swim there. Took a walk on the pier which was very nice.

Skaneateles has all we needed for a two night romantic getaway. Enough nice shops and several diverse restaurants of quite high quality. Nothing to complain about. Really enjoyed the 2 1/2 days. Less than an hour drive to some of the better Finger Lakes wineries.

Took a bit of a road trip from our hotel in Geneva to Skeanateales Lake and the town but well worth it. Cute town with a beautiful waterfront and public swimming access. Nice rest. and all the things you need to have in a "town"!...More

A very enjoyable place to visit for a day or weekend. Nice parks, including right on the north end of the lake. We love taking sandwiches and eating while watching the boats and paddle boards.

We try and get to Skeanateales every Fall. We usually stay at the Sherwood Inn ... used to be a stage coach stop. Great tavern for a little more casual dining and a more formal area available as well. Terrific ambiance, nice selection of rooms...More

I love lunch at a The Sherwood, tasting wines at Anyelas and just strolling around the shops. Doug's a Fish Fry is appealing too. We enjoyed sitting in the park and enjoying the view of the lake. Gorgeous!

Lots to do. Inns and restaurants and numerous shops (shoppes?) Beautiful lake. Take a cruisee on the boat at the foot of the lake right in town.
