We took our 6 & 10 yo grandsons and they enjoyed it as much as we did. Finished the outing with lunch in the pavilion by the Mohawk River. Great local outing for all ages.

Our 3rd visit, and the collection is still superb for a museum of this size. Don't miss it; portraits [one of the 70+ copies Stuart did of George Washington], Winslow Homer, American impressionists and more.

What a wonderful surprise to find a fabulous art gallery right around the corner in an unassuming small town. The Arkell Museum has art from Homer, Wyeth, Georgia O'Keefe, a copy of Rembrant's Night Watch and so much more. The interesting history about the Beech...More
