If you enjoy interesting building design and a good cheese make sure you stop by and visit this abbey. This is a completely different visual concept than any other abbey I have visited and worth the short jaunt off the main highway. The monks are...More

Beautiful abbey with a nice boutique in the basement, selling cheese and other food products mostly made in the monastery. Don't miss their cheese collections. They are really delicious and also inexpensive.

A beautiful place both inside and outside. We were sorry not to hear the Gregorian Chanting but did avail ourselves of the shop with an amazing assortment of delicious cheese.

On weekend vacation in Southern Quebec, my family and I visited the architectural beauty of Abbey de Saint Benoit. With the fall foliage background of early October, it appeared many others had the same idea since the traffic was heavy that Sunday. Parking in a...More

We went to a service to experience the Gregorian chants. Very moving experience in a beautiful setting. The area is idyllic. Pick up some cheese before you leave!

One of the hidden gems of Canada, tucked away in the hills of Quebec. A fascinating history and story, and the cheeses are amazing. Whether or not you are on a spiritual journey, you will be touched by visiting here.
