I must admit, I've lived in NY my entire life and this was my first time visiting the cottage. It was interesting and something different to do. Our tour guide Alex was enthusiastic and knowledgeable. He made the visit even more pleasant.

This cottage where Poe wrote some of his most famous works gives a hint of the world he lived in. Well worth the trip to see it and the host there has a great deal of passion for both the site and the neighbourhood.
