Suggested by a friend who lived in NYC for many years, we ventured up to the Bronx for the Holiday Train Show. It was breathtaking. So unique, like nothing we'd ever seen. And although it was winter, we took the actual train around the park...More

I’ve been to the orchid show for two consecutive years and it’s amazing. The visual displays of the cascading orchids are stunning and breathtaking. Perfect for the chilly winter drabness!

The gardens were amazing, especially the rose and Lotus gardens. The Chihuly glass art was placed throughout the park which was beautiful and thought-provoking.

An oasis in the Bronx! How beautiful . It’s like stepping back into time and experiencing what NY looked like before the grey and drab buildings, streets etc; An escape from the mundane .

Have been to the gardens twice in the last few months. One for the Chihuly which is now over but was beautiful. Then went to the train show which was lots of fun. Learned a lot about NYC historic buildings that are in the exhibit.

The gift shop is right at the main entrance and readily accessible. Can’t imagine why you couldn’t go right there.
