Bob, who owns the Boat Livery (established 1908), has spent all of his 60+ summers at Blue Mountain Lake, and it shows. He has actually met (as a kid) some of the luminaries he talks about on his tour of "Blue" and two of the...More

I had found the 2-hour Historic Boat Tour online and pre-booked for last Friday afternoon, when friends and I would be meeting up in the Blue Mountain Lake area. As an unexpected gift, we had several hours of the most glorious late summer weather imaginable....More

What a fun tour! The boat, which Captain Bob said was constructed in 1915, was beautiful - I felt like we were on the African Queen. Bob was very knowledgeable and took us through 3 lakes spinning the tales of the history of the area,...More

Great tour in an antique boat. The guide knew a lot of the local history and was great with answering questions.

We loved this tour. The boat was comfortable and the guide was funny and very knowledgeable. It was too muddy to hike. This was plan B but it was delightful.

Our trip on Blue Mountain Lake with Captain Mike and his boat Osprey was just great. Though we are far from newcomers to the Adirondacks, let alone BLM, we thought Captain Mike made this jewel of the Adirondacks more vivid than ever before. His stories...More

We had a real nice time with a two hour pontoon boat rental. Low hassle easy process and we were on the water in no time. Great quiet lake to explore. Reasonable prices. Staff friendly in this family operation.

My group of 22 rented two pontoons from Blue Mountain Boat Livery. We called a few days in advance, and the crew at the livery helped us target the best day for our outing....choosing the best timing amid days of rain ( sometimes downpours!) in...More
