We are new to the area. What a wonderful green corner of the city to stumble upon as we were walking the dog one day! We happened onto a pastoral scene of laughing children and older couples holding hands and strolling on the tree-lined paths. We can't wait until we will be able to experience the swimming pool, tennis courts... More

Wow, Recreation Park has been seriously upgraded! Physically challenged kids can access just about everything on the playground. The five-year old in our family loves the carousel and the playground. We haven't been in the pool.

We stopped here in hopes of seeing the carousel, only to find it was closed. A bit disappointed, but my 6 year old loved the park none the less. I love the signs posted around the park about "young ears listening"-- more places need to have that!!

There is so much to do at the new park- opened up just last week and it's already being known as the best park for miles. There are so many things to run, jump, swing and move on, and best yet, it's all wheelchair accessible. There's a pool, a carousel, and a field nearby to play on, too. I wish... More

Recreation Park already offers a pool, free Herschel carousel, plenty of sports and relaxing space, and a lot of rich history. It is located in the beautiful West Side neighborhood of Binghamton and provides the only play space for students attending the near by elementary school. So it's space is only enhanced a thousand fold by the new all abilities... More

Have gone here many times to play softball. Kids can play at the park and ride the merry-go-round. Very relaxing.
