Such a nice museum. It is very much away in the countryside, but it is worth it. The drive is also very nice, through the Catskills. The museum has a variety of exhibits and placards that detail Woodstock, music of the era, Civil Rights, and Vietnam. I totally felt that after visiting I understood my "hippie" mother much better. Great... More

Brought it all back! You can overlook the original stage site and walk down the road to "the lake"! Made me feel a lot older!!

The museum is everything you ever wanted to know about Woodstock. There is a magic school bus in the museum and movies playing in many different rooms. Many pictures displayed. Love the room with the screen on the ceiling and you sit on bean bags!

Not much singular to recommend. The place has a broad overview of a (perhaps?) overdone history. Some relatively entertaining photos and such, but without a particular scholarship.

We went to the museum after the Neil Young concert, and it was nothing like we expected at all. My husband and I were expecting way more to look at like a typical museum, rather than just a bunch of informational signs as you go along. It was extremely disappointing. I could've easily found a website with all of the... More

Made me wish I was old enough to be at the original. Great museum that made you feel like you were there in 1969. Janis Joplin, Hendrix, Keith Moon....

Although I was only 14 during the summer of 1969 and didn't go to the concert, Woodstock made quite an impression on me and my generation. It was a lot of fun visiting this museum on the grounds of the famous festival's site -- Yasgur's farm. Unfortunately, the day was a too cold & windy to walk the grounds but... More

The museum at Bethel Woods brought back many memories of those times in my life when the influences of woodstock were the rage.I did not attend the concert but even the "outside folks" seemed to live thru the attendees with the anti-war, peace loving genre. Excellent display of the times.
