This is a well organized and laid out museum. There is a lot of information and memorabilia from the '60s. The museum lays out nicely the build up of the events in the '60s and gives a good understanding to the issues of the decade...More

Nestled in the middle of nowhere it was great to check out the site of musical history... the Woodstock concert venue from 1969. You can still invision the throngs of music goers as you stand near the base by the monument. The museum is informative...More

A very interesting museum. Even if you don't think you are into Woodstock memorabilia you will be after visiting this place. It is informative and fun. You will learn all about the Bethel Area which is the original Woodstock site. Great experience!

If you didn't go to Woodstock, this is the next best thing. A very well designed museum with artifacts, photos, and a 20 minute film about the music and the artists who were there. Excellent tours done by many of the guide who were there...More

A rainy day took us to The Woodstock Museum and I had a great day. You can spend two hours to all day just reliving Woodstock. The videos, displays, history and additional exhibits were great.

Wow, Man; this was a super groovy museum! It was all about the '60s--the good and the bad--with a separate exhibit predominately about the history of, and happenings at Woodstock. A photographer tells the stories of the news of the times. I found it interesting...More

It is one of those bucket list place to visit. The weather was miserable, so imagine what it was when the rains came. The museum and the staff were great. Everyone remembers Woodstock but don't realize the concert was held here.
