We arrived just in time for the live show at 1430. The show was great, showing how raptors are rescued and trained to be released back into the wild when they are recovered enough. The highlight was showing a Secretary bird stomping and kicking a rubber snake around, exactly as they do in nature. This is an absolute must to... More

I would highly suggest this Bird of Prey Centre. It far exceeds other similar institutions I have visited in variety of bird species, service and care of birds. The caretakers are experienced falconers and as a result the birds have the opportunity to fly free, which you can observe first hand and at close quarters should you wait for the... More

This was a fantastic experience. Very informative. The guides/handlers of the animals were mindblowing They know how to connect with their audience and make them laugh. Very passionate people. The R60 entrance is definitely worth it and goes toward a non profit organisation. One can even touch the the most awesome owl. Go visit them when you are in Dullstroom... More

My husnads favorite place to go trout fishing, with the call of the fish eagle in the background. We also attended the bird show which was highly informative & very educational. Can recommend this place for all bird lovers & parents with kids.

Great place to learn something about raptors! The do fantastic work rehabilitating injured/sick birds and their daily show is quite something. See how fast a falcon dives, listen as you struggle to hear an owl's beating wings (and you won't) and learn many fascinating things about these awesome birds. And of course, spare some pennies and make a donation to... More
