If you like scenic mountain scenery, this is the drive for you. This is not a drive if you are looking for cute little towns to go shopping in or dining in cause that doesn't happen. We were here in mid April and Red River...More

We were in Tase and decided to make the enchanted circle drive. It was fun and interesting. Side of drive with Eagle Nest is nice than the other side of drive, but all nice and interesting

What an amazing thing to do on a sunny spring day. 84 miles of bliss, 5 towns, gorges, canyons, homesteads, ranches, some wildlife too. A stop in Red River is a must. What a great little town.

We were blown away frequently by the views, the countryside, and the people we saw on this short road trip. The towns of Eagles Nest and Red River could not be more quaint and scenic. We stopped in Red River for a walk and a...More

The weather on Taos doesn't seem to be easily predictable by any of the news sources we checked and we planned this drive when we thought it would be nice out all day. but to our surprise, it was nice even with the cloudy weather.

This was the best scenic drive I have ever been on and believe me it is worth it. Make sure to stop by the Rio grande gorge bridge; and the Veterans memorial between Angel fire and Eagles nest.

Made another trip around the Enchanted Circle today. We started and ended in Angel Fire. Not much snow (none at all on the roads) but enough in the trees to make things pretty. Fun to drive through the mountains through the little town and bigger...More

We were in Taos for 3 days and decided to do the Enchanted Circle. I guess we expected too much. It's not bad, but not sure where "Enchanted" came from. It was just mainly countryside with little towns. We rode through Angel Fire but that...More

We drove the enchanted circle yesterday. It was beautiful but there was almost no snow, which is terrible for the ski season.

This drive offers stunning and varied views. Easy, though largely uninhabited areas along drive. We went in December and did not encounter any weather issues.
