A chance to visit the memorabilia of a Western scout. And education of what was happening as the West was opened up for the wagon trains.

I heard the name before but the movie tells us his life story. You can also see artifacts and old photos and his old home. This is great for anyone interested in the old west.

A great learning experience about Kit Carson. Excellent exhibit, plus short movie about his life. This will flesh out what we didn't get in High School American History class.

We finally visited this litte Museum and several trips to Taos over the years. It is the actual home of Kit Carson, making it very poignant when visualizing how the little inside space was utilized by the family.
