I had a wonderful time. I went with my daughter, her husband and two of my grandchildren. Aside from the flies( which are everywhere) it was really nice and somewhat peaceful. I enjoyed watching everyone just relax. A great place locally to just hang out.

No alcohol allowed per sign at Lea Lake campground. No ground fires – I don’t know if this means you can bring an outdoor fireplace but the camp hosts had firewood and one had a visible portable fireplace. Odd layout without much privacy. Very quiet....More

This is a very good place to take the family for water fun and picnics, it is said that the main Lea Lake is bottomless.....maybe it is or not....it is a good place to go to

Bottomless lakes is about 12 miles east of Roswell. Short drive to get there. If your looking for peace and quiet, this is the place. Great place for riding bikes and/or camping.

That's correct! Only grills so no campfires. It does take away from the camping experience...

Sorry, no there are no gift shops there. Across from the UFO museum is a very good one but it has mostly alien items. Your best bet is get as many pictures as you can. Go above the lake to the look out and that is the best... More

Yes they charge, As I recall it was in the neighborhood of $20. Given my wife's need to run an o2 machine we have to be where there is electric, so we generally end up paying more than someone able to dry camp.
