We had a wonderful ski vacation in Red River NM and loved the slopes. We had both novice and experienced skiers/boarders in our group and everyone enjoyed this skip area. All the employees were very friendly and helpful especially with the new folks to the sport. I would highly recommend this for families.

I learned to ski here when I was a kid and brought my kids back to do the same. It hasn't changed that much over the last 35 years! It is, of course, updated and upgraded, but still the quaint little town I remember!. I love the fact that there are ski runs ranging from EASY basic green, to black... More

I’ve lived in New Mexico for over 20 years and had never been to Red River until recently. I’m glad I made the trip. It’s about a three-hour drive from Albuquerque, but worth the miles. One part of what makes Red River so unique is its location. It’s a small town at the base of the ski mountain. Once your... More

Great in winter and summer. Love this ski in ski out town. Been coming here for 30+ years. Quality rental equipment at the Ski base. Great trails with grooming and snow making every evening to add to the snow base. Perfect for beginners and small children. Our kids were on skis at 18 months old and now their children are... More

We went with another family (8 of us total, all adults and teenagers). After skiing in several other colorado and New Mexico spots, Red River is one of the best! IT is a smaller mountain compared to most colorado mountains, but it is very family friendly. The lift operators, ski rental staff, and ski instructors were all very freindly and... More

Our family spent New Year's Eve through January 4th in Red River. The snow was great, all of our favorite runs had plenty of snow and all lifts were running! Had some issues this time with the lift tickets I purchased from the RRSSA Kiosk at the Lift House (neither ticket would work; kept saying they were expired). The lift... More

our boys enjoyed the skiing again. They are 16, 14 and 9 and all found trails that fit their skills and needs. The 9 year old took a full day of lessons and then one private lesson because he wasn't very confident in his skills although the instructors assured him he was ready. After the private lesson, he was hooked... More
