Nice trails for a couple of days, but smallish for more. Good options for on and off-trails, skate, classic, and backcountry. Great staff. Small base area, seating for 10-12, but easily crowded. No running water, but caraffes of hot water and coffee, and soup in...More

Very easy to find this beautiful place and we love the activities. If you have never gone cross-country skiing give this place a try. It's like hiking on roller skates...really long roller skates with oil-slick wheels! Beautiful trails.

This place is awesome! It was out first time show shoeing and what a great experience. The trails are nicely groomed, and the place is so quiet and peaceful. Be warned, it's a workout to be hiking uphill in snowshoes but what a blast. Even...More

Each winter we make a trip from Alamosa to the Enchanted Forest to XC ski. The trails are always well groomed and clearly marked, and this year the snow was exceptional. The original owners have passed the business on to the daughter and son-in-law who...More

This was the first time we tried cross country skiing so we took the lesson--it was worth it. It is pretty easy to pick up the basics, but the instruction made a huge difference in our success on the trails.

There's a lot of activities to do in this area. You can go for snowmobile, sledging, tubing. Enchanted ski area is also big as well, and they are not expensive as well.
