This hike is beautiful and offers so many different views of the surrounding area. If you have 5-8 hours and are in decent shape, I would definitely recommend this summer hike. Start early in the morning to avoid any possible late afternoon showers. We went up in July and the lake is absolutely gorgeous. We even ran into some snow... More

The trail map shows five miles to lost lake and five miles back to parking. Our hikers included two adults, two children (seven and ten) and one golden retriever. We started at approximately 10am and made it 4 miles before we had to stop for lunch at 1pm. Rain storm came in so we turned around and hiked back down... More

This was the most scenic hike i've ever done. Was blown away by thi views. I'd rate it as an intermediate hike, no really steep grades or climbing, but it's about 11 miles round trip. I'll probably do it again the next trip.
