When We went to San Francisco de Assisi Mission Church at mid afternoon we were the only ones there. The interior of the church was very beautiful. The exterior of the church was very unique. Well worth the visit.

Very serene and quiet place for reflections. Just a few miles outside of Taos. Beautiful from all angles and often photo graphed. Looks like something from a Georgia O'keefe painting.

This is a wonderful, peaceful place to spend an hour. The history of the church and its place in Taos are very interesting.

Beautiful old adobe church. I must stop if you like churches, as I do. Also if you are into taking photos. Somewhat hard to find,

It's easy to miss this hidden gem, which is tucked away off the road in Rancho de Taos, but it is well worth seeking out, as it is a perfectly maintained relic of the Spanish Colonial Period.

Unique church! You aren't allowed to take photos inside the church, but very unique. Also, it's a must to ask to see the mysterious painting of Jesus!!!
