Madrid is a cool town full of great art galleries ,good food and alot of fun for the whole family. The Crawdaddy Blues Fest is the 19th and 20th this May !

It was a busy Sunday afternoon and there was amazing live music. The fried Chiles were excellent, as was the service. I will be back!

Excellent food and great staff. Worth the visit. Get to Madrid early, shop your heart out and the treat yourself to an excellent lunch or dinner at The Mine Shaft. DELICIOUS!! Safe travels everyone.

Someone in Santa Fe recommended taking the Turquoise Trail to Albuquerque. told us to stop at the Mine shaft tavern for great burgers And they were right. My husband had a make your own with onion rings and I had the mushroom burger with fries....More

We ran into another couple from home ( Dallas ) and laughed and had drinks. The bar and bartenders were awesome!

Don’t know what the current situation is there. Last time no outside dinning at all. Suggest calling restaurant!
