B-Square Ranch Museums (there are 2 separate museums) were established by the Tom Bolack family and is privately owned, although open to the public. There are 2 separate museums, one is a fish and wildlife museum (not a living museum). The second is an electro-mechanical museum. I found both museums interesting and filled with artifacts that I was unaware of.... More

The B-Square ranch is a very interesting place to visit. There are several museums including a wildlife museum, electrical museum, and transportation museum as well as old machinery, vehicles, electrical apparatus, etc. on the grounds. Some of the museums are still being setup and are not well organized, but their contents are amazing for anyone into technology.

A great natural history museum possibly the best in New Mexico! The staff is friendly and the best part is it's free! They let you touch the animals skins in the middle of the tour-way awesome! Kid friendly but has stairs.

Just did the electrical and mechanical tour which went through three buildings for two hours and you would be amazed at the strange stuff. Electrical switchgear, insulators, generators, fuses, meters, control panels you name it there is a section covering it. Also 1900's medical, aircraft, cars, printing, television, broadcast, tanks, tractors, oil drilling equipment, stereo and tape, and a vast... More

This is an amazing place. The first tour takes you into the world of animals. Most were from hunting trips others are replicas. Each animal is tagged with it's name and location. The museum has an entire room of birds with a space for a replica of each kind of bird that has come onto the ranch. Next we come... More

I went into this museum not really expecting much, but WOW! I was astounded at the quantity of wildlife samples were there and the quality of the taxidermy. It was incredible! I liked the crocodile....and especially the number of necklaces found in his stomach after it was killed! This place is highly recommended!!

I have visited here many times in the past. Every time there is something new. So much to see here. You must take both tours. Both are so interesting. Makes for a great Saturday outing, but be aware, you will be doing a lot of walking.

Out of this world collection of wildlife museum, collected when still allowed. And the electro mechanical collections, even if electromechanical is not your thing see it anyway. You will not regret the time spent. Plan about 4 hours total. Do not cut short. This is the collection of a very wealthy man, nor des eased, now owned by his getting... More
