We camped at Lion's Beach for a couple of nights. The staff was friendly and the site was clean. We had a nice view of the reservoir. The dump station for this loop was closed, so we used the other dump station. Not an issue...More

Really enjoyed this place, which features what we were told is a 17-mile long lake. It offers spectacular views of the mountains.

This a great park. Lots of camping and with good facilities. Tons of hiking, especially if you drive away from the main gate and go through town of Elephant Butte, just a couple of miles away. The West Lakeshore trail is extensive and lovely.

Although I like Navajo Lake better, this is much warmer water and closer to Albuquerque. I can't give 5 rating because someone stole my tube when I wasn't looking.

As a Army retiree we are able to rent equipment at military bases so I didn't even go near the marina. So I don't know but it was a really nice place so I would expect there is something there.
