Although the lake levels are lower than average, this is still a place to come to refresh yourselves. This is a great place to come for the day. Bring an umbrella as there are no trees. The water is cool and access is easy. A...More

We came over for a dip after hiking the Tent Rocks National Monument and it felt really good to get out of the heat. Couple of things that were strange - no drinking, you have to wear a life jacket, and the rangers are all...More

Excellent water recreation man made lake with a quiet, clean, spacious beach front. Beach offers some shelters with tables and a sizeable clean swimming area. Lake easily accommodates kayaks, moderate sized sail boats, and any non motorized water craft. Camping area across the road from...More

Garbage. While it is an Army Corp of Engineer site, it is garbage. Campground is just trashy, mostly without any hook-ups for those of you RVers. Facilities are filthy and lake is no wake throughout. If you can, keep going. We have. 40’ coach and...More

This is a nice park in the hills south of Santa Fe. It is on a reservoir but don't anticipate being on the water, near the water or even being able to have much of a view. The sites are spacious, with a shelter and...More

Pro: senior passes accepted. Convenient stop on our annual sojourn North. Juniper loop has W/E on inside loop, outside loop is only E. Some sites will require 75' water hose. Even Google 3D doesn't do justice to the hilly terrain. We are literally backed into...More

We did not go there to camp out or fish, just to visit the area. We only saw the dam from far away and it did not look like the lake had very much water. The place, however, looked peaceful. Driving further to get to...More

Came for six days so we could check out the area. We have a 35 foot RV and easily got into our site in Ringtail Cat loop. This loop is “dry” without hookups. But it has the best most modern sites with new concrete pads...More

Yes cochiti is currently open. However, reservations whether you call or go online will not allow you to reserve a spot on demand. You have to make reservations 3 days in advance. The campground does offer walk up spaces... More
