We drove the the waterfalls rather than hiking in. While the falls themselves were not spectacular the area above the falls was beautiful. Take time to hike up the steps and sit in the green meadow next to the steam under the trees. Very refreshing!!!

The waterfall was nice and had water even though monsoon season is over. The waterfall is visible from the parking lot, so if you're looking for a hike with a landmark as a goal this is not the one. The dirt road leading there is...More

Be careful on the gravel road. Lots of water covered pot holes. Some areas it’s narrow and only one vehicle can go through. It’s worth the trip. Saw a flock of turkeys and a herd of wild horses. There was a wedding going on at...More

A great change of pace for locals because this is a high alpine forest, at 8200', nestled inside of the Chihuahuan desert. What makes this camping site better then most is the clean vault toilet nearby. Back country camping is allowed pretty much anywhere in...More

Can't wait to come back for camping! The road getting there was really nice, and the trail was great for taking a break from the busy world.

This was a beautiful, serene place! The waterfall was amazing! Make sure to wear appropriate hiking gear. I only wore tennis shoes and wasn't able to explore as much as I wanted. Also take a light jacket even if it is summer!

The forest road is a bit rough as you head to Bluff Springs, but it's worth the drive. Lovely waterfall, bridge and stairs to take you to the top of the falls. Be sure to hike back to the source of the spring. Beautiful meadows...More

No fee per vehicle or person, it’s free. It’s open year round. We have camped in November and in June. Water is always on the falls but at times it’s frozen.

This past June we were unable to do campfires due to dry season, but all other times campfires are allowed. Bad timing I suppose :)
