Since we moved to Durango we have joined 3 different wineries. This is the best as they have a great selection of both reds and whites and we really enjoy them all. It is a family owned business which I love and they couldn't be nicer. The tour of the winery is interesting as well as informative. They have an... More

Out of the way, but what a charming location. Tried several whites and reds found none that I did not like. Tough time choosing which to buy. Bought the Cabernet and the Girls Are Meaner. Highly recommended.

We found this winery as a Harvest Host member on a trip between Arches National Park and Albuquerque NM. Being from California, we never expected to find great wine in New Mexico. No, we are not wine snobs nor are we wine experts, but we have spent a fair amount of time in Napa and Temecula tasting wines and we... More

This winery was a little off the beaten path for us. We took a gamble and decided to go there since we read some good reviews on google. The wine was fantastic! They had a little bit of everything and the gentleman who I think is one of the owners was great. He talked about the history of the farm/winery... More

My wife and I like going to wineries when on vacation in different parts of the US. We had seen this winery was located within a decent driving distance from Pagosa Springs so added it to our list of places to go. The day we happened to go they had special outdoor music, outdoor wine tasting (free) and a spaghetti... More

Came here as a Harvest Host member and loved it. I was worried about New Mexico wine and was pleasantly surprised. The wine was delicious and the winery was beautiful. Would highly recommend you go here if in the area.

We came on our anniversary and were luck enough to have the place to ourselves on a Saturday! We tasted just about every wine and wow, there are some really really good ones. We settled on a bottle ($14) and ordered a cheese plate (usually $7 but $5 on special the day we went). The cheese plate wasn't fancy but... More

What a nice review Jamie, thank you! We're very glad that you enjoyed your visit, minus the geese. They can be a handful. We keep threatening to have a goose dinner one of these days. Haha. It sounds like you had perfect timing when you came to the winery. We hope to see you again soon. More

Hardest working family I have ever met. We planned on camping here overnight for one night with Harvest Hosts. David and Marcia Arnold were very welcoming and informative about the wines and the area. The grounds are lovely, with peacocks, geese and ducks roaming the grounds and JoJo the emu standing guard. The wines were delightful and the winery tour... More

Had a wonderful visit to our favorite (only one) winery in this area. This winery is about 25 miles east of Farmington, NM,. located in the rural area near Navajo Lake State Park, at Turley, NM. We go here to visit the owners and enjoy their wonderful selection of wines, all fermented and bottled at the winery. My wife and... More

We visited Wines of the San Juan on December 12th. We visit the winery often as we enjoy the friendship of the owners, a quiet glass or two of wine in the tasting room settled in the quiet San Juan River valley. We tasted new wines that will be released shortly to the public. The wines are excellent and I... More
