This is one of the tour groups working at the island. There are several tour options. I chose snorkling in the south. I found the day well worth spent, as you get to see some of the attractions in the south of the island as well as enjoying the boat trip to the small southern islands. What you don't wnat... More

Not worth it. Unfriendly staff with exception of the bus tour guide Jerry. First stop a so called pearl farm which is actually just a jewellery shop. After 30 minutes you're of to the boat. Then the screaming starts. The "so called" captain will start barking orders for the next two hours, e.g. "Get your snorkelling stuff now, you have... More

The boat was crowded with people, the snorkelling was bad. The corals was dead and the food was awful! For the first time in Vietnam I could not eat the food. Don't waste your time on this crap. We went on a snorkelling tour in the south.

Snorkelling trip. Excellent rapid responses by email from the office. Picked up bang on time as promised. We stopped at a pearl farm along the way - I think most tours do as they are looking for commission. Thought it would be a tourist trap, but in fact the demonstration of pearl harvesting was fascinating and its only a 30... More

The first day we booked a tour to the south islands and Sao beach. Our guide, Zoom Zoom was great, the snorkeling was very nice and Sao beach amazing! We booked another tour for the day after but they forgot to pick us up so we rebooked for the day after. We went to the north islands for snorkeling, the... More

Enjoyed meeting and chatting with local guide. The food served on board was reasonable given the cost of ~15USD per person for the trip. However, the drive to An Thoi port from the resort hotels is on a very rough road, there is a lot of plastic flotsam in the water around the port and no-one caught any squid. Probably... More

Had one of the worst experiences ever. The tour says 17-21, but we didn't head out until after 18. After being out for 1 hour a lot of people started throwing up all over the boat. The crew managed the situation very poorly and chose to return to shore. They were very rude. This took almost an hour even though... More

Where to start? Phu Quoc simply does not have many quality tourist operators right now, but I can't really imagine one that much worse than John's tours. JW Marriott advised us of a 9am pickup so we arrived to the lobby at 8:55am. We didn't end up getting picked up until 10:15am. As the last people to arrive to the... More

We booked the tour through our hotel which cost 330,000 VND each - Hotel pick up/drop off was included in that price. The trip itself was like a boat trip with dinner rather than a squid fishing trip. Out of roughly 40 people, only 2 caught a squid in an hour and a half so it was pretty disappointing. The... More
