Touching experience. Still cant believe all the torture these people went through.. Worth visiting while on the island, easy place to find with the scooter.

Very spooky place. If you read the stories about what happened here it makes you shiver. Pretty big facility with a lot to see. Better bring sunscreen!

Very interesting place but a horrible history. Some of the exhibits are damaged due to some people not caring and only interested in getting selfies whilst hugging a poor man (mannequin) who is being tortured. Not very funny and plain disrespectful. It's not a place...More

If you are in Phu Quoc this place is a must visit!! It shows how being a prisoner there was a horrible experience! The things that happened here are out of a horror movie!!

Should visit this historical attraction to get to know the atrocities practice here during the period of 67 till the 72. The figures are very well done and let you capt better what was happening inside this prison walls.

One of the most rememberable place we visited in Phu Quoc. Still thinking about those people who pass this through... or didn’t. All this was not so long time ago. Institution itself is full of trash and acumulated. Opening times were not correct.

A genuine prison showing American brutality in the 1970’s. Rather biased? The escape tunnel was the best bit for us.

It might be better to use a wheelchair because the prison is quite big and there are stairs that lead into each cabin.

Phu Quoc is very small island. You can hire a taxi every minute, is cheap and safe. I have been renting a scooter and doing self made tour through all island. It was really off the beaten track. All country and island is... More
