Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

closest point to observe Cambodia. Particularly, you can enjoy a kind of 'tiny" private beach. Also, enjoy the sea food here.

Cheap seafood, shrimps restaurant opposite the beach 500,000vnd / kg cheaper than 700,000 / kg in ham fishing village, here few people are not very special, especially the price of seafood is cheaper other places of Phu Quoc Island

Though it is far to come, I love walking along this beach. From here you can look far to Cambodia. The area is not very big. You can take some nice photos here. There is a restaurant named Bien Hai which provides delicious sea foods with reasonable price.

Most of the beautiful pictures we could find on the internet are the sightseeing from the resorts near there, including the white balcony looking to the sea. Actually "Mui Ganh Dau" is just a pile of rock reaching out the sea; if you have good cameras, you could take some good poses on the rock pile. However, please be aware that the area is quite dirty and having bad smells due to local commercial activities.
How to get to the rock pile: near the location on the map you will find Bien Hai Restaurant on your left, there is a small dirt road besides this restaurant that will lead you to the rock pile. Extra: the lemon smoothies at this restaurant is quite good with lime harvested from the forest if you want to stop by and have something to drink.
The place is only recommended when you have visited all other places and planning to go North side of the island for visiting Vinpearl (playground) or Safari (zoo) or the primitive forest and would love to stop by to have some poses with the rock pile.

Far from the center. The beach is full of trash and horribke boat noise and gasoline. Good food, bit expensive for what it offer.

We left the hustle and bustle of Duong Dong with the usual taxi ride (can't get used to motorcycles going erratically everywhere), and we were presented with the calm of an almost remote place. Well, there were the usual food vendors, and a few small boat operators hawking for business, but the scenery shone out.

We were brought here to view Cambodia opposite. Nothing much to do, too early for sunset. After listening to waves splashing on the beach, we return back to town which would take you about 40 minutes drive.

We have got on our own to some private part of the beach where was no one. Water and sand were clean and clear, descent to sea was flat with several stones. Perfect place for a relax.

We stopped to snap a picture of the closest point in Phu Quoc to Cambodia. The beach is small and there are a few rustic restaurants nearby.
Boats will take you out to a smaller island where you can snorkel.

Seems this area was beautiful in the past as it now is different with pictures on internet.Small beach, few fishing boats there offering to go to small island but when we came there, that is full of trash.
