It was interesting to see the evolution of the shadow puppets and how they came to Thailand. Also the ways they changed through the ages. The lady showed us how they are made and how the leather is prepared. An interesting hour.

Here is just a few place in the country where still perform the authentic shadow puppet arts. Here established by the National Artist named; Suchat Sapsin, the same name as the play house title.

found the place interesting, a lot of buffalo skin very artisticly carved the lady was explaining everything very well enjoyed it a lot

If you interested in southern Thai culture you have to go there. Our kids would have stayed there for weeks I guess and continuing to build their own shadow puppets. But also for real insight to this great art and culture.

Not to be missed when in Thailand. Great ancient art with handmade shadow puppets. You also can see the artists at work and visit the museum.
