This monument always has devotees praying around. Also, it is one main stop for many of Nakhon Ratchasima's songthaew routes.

This is one of the most famous historic monuments in Korat. The area is located in the city centre and it is very clean and well maintained. We came in the late afternoon, so it was not crowded. I felt safe here and was able...More

If you find yourself in the area, you should stop by and take a couple photos of this monument. You'll only spend a few minutes here, but it's worth having a look!

Visited during the candle festival. The statue was much smaller than I thought it would be. The candles showed amazing scenes and were really impressive.

She dressed as a man and fought against the Burmese invaders. Her statue receives many visitors daily as she is venerated in Thailand.

This place is like most places in Thailand. Boring to death, no facilities, dangerous and lots of Thais waiting for gullible foreigners who are willing to pay an exurbirant sum of $$$ for a portret of a China made piece of plastic. I live in...More
