Our stay in Hunza was pretty short, we visited Baltit Fort and took some photographs from the top, didn't stay a night there. The people of Hunza are very welcoming no doubt in that, and the valley itself is very clean and beautiful.

the valley was awash with blossoms _ apple, cherry, peach . We also saw ibex and yak in the high regions Travel was a breeze on the KKH (Karakoram highway ) altho if you go off road , a jeep may be the best mode

We visited the Hunza valley and enjoyed the beautiful scenery of Hunza. Khunjrab top was a beauty surrounded with snow covered mountains. Trek to Ulter base camp was a memorable day. Over all this trip made an indelible impression on me.

Hello everyone, I'm planning to visit Hunza Valley around August/September this year and have so many questions. Any help and answers would be greatly appreciated! 1. To obtain a visa, the embassy in Germany demands both an invitation letter as well as proof of a tour booking with a travel-agency. Has anybody been able to get a visa without an organized tour from an agent? 2. I have several visa to Iran in my passport. Will this make it more difficult or even impossible to get a Pakistan-visa? 3. I am a senior solo female traveler. Would I have problems in public busses/trains/taxis? 4. How much time should I plan to spend? I have all the time in the world, so I'm very free with my planning. Thanks everyone!
