Altit Fort is must visit places when you are in Hunza, When you are going to Altit Fort, you can get chance to meet local people and how they are living there.

Be prepared to walk up the very steep hill to get to the fort, but once inside the tour guide was only 18 and he knew the history of this place and had perfect English was amazing views looking for the roof too.

I visited Baltit fort first and I liked it more than Altit fort cuz of the history, cleanliness. If you enjoy the history, never miss the historical places. If you visit hunza do visit the Altit fort

The fort is 1100 years old. It's got the most amazing view n history. The guide there has the best sense of humour n is a real intelligent historian. Love the restaurant in the Garden.

altit fort is on top of a mountain, completely renovated, amazing place to see in the middle of mountains, you cannot expect a fort in this place but when you go there you will see.

Do have food at their restaurant and listen to local music by students at the Lais Learning Center. The chef are specially trained by the Aga Khan Foundation, empowering women. The music is mesmerizing
