We had an interesting visiting to Tenganan, and our guide was happy to answer our questions. We were also able to watch our guide's wife do some weaving, and see some of the beautiful fabric she had made. Probably understandably we spent more time in...More

Place is ok. Nice small village. U have to give small donation before enter. Also there is guys selling different things, whit big price. Same items U can get lower price in candidasa street shops/markets. We visit this small city recomended our fantastic guide/driver Komang.

Gosh, so worth the visit, it feels like you are going back in time. The old buildings have little shops set-up so you can purchase their arts and crafts. Get a guided tour to you learn the history. So close to Candidasa. A fabulous outing.

Pretty small village!! Didn't feel that there was much special here. Our guide, a textile businessman tried to sell us their ikat textile items but the price was just too high, so we didn't buy. You could easily miss it without missing any Bali experience!!

We expected to see more "real Balinese life" but in fact you walk along the village (very nice and worth seeing the architecture) and you can visit in fact the houses/shops/workshops offering exactly the same products just different quality and different prices

Yes it’s a village where Balinese people actually live but they’ve turned it into a souvenir Village.
