Visited 4 restaurants in Seminyak with this company. First restaurant was hard to beat, beautiful location watching the sunset while enjoying three seafood meals with paired cocktails. Second and fourth, beautiful locations and wonderful food. Third place a bit disappointing, tiny portions and cocktails were horrible. Great way to discover some wonderful restaurants, many off the beaten track. Enjoyable evening.

We did the Bali Food Safari - Temptation Restaurant Discovery in Seminyak which included 3 restaurants and wow! wow! wow!
We were picked up on time by our host, Sita and our driver, and quickly made our way from Legian to Seminyak in air-conditioned comfort. Sita full explained how the evening would work and ensured we had the best seats at our first restaurant overlooking the beach. Cocktails to match a 3 course tasting menu were beautifully presented and delicious.
Our second stop was a new and very hip Asian/south american infusion restaurant. The presentation of the restaurant was great and this translated into the food - 3 tasting plates. We initially thought we'd be hungry but by the end of the third course we were wondering how we'd go at the third stop!
The third stop was a rustic Italian - and we were presented with an enormous dessert platter which was the talking point of the tables around us.
We love dining out in Seminyak and have been to a few great places. The Bali Food Safari enabled us to try some new places - likely which we'd have never found on our own.
Overall this was a great experience and we'd recommend this to others.

I wanted to experience a bit of high end dining in Bali
Juliana was our host and picked us up at our hotel. Lovely young lady...
Four restaurants, 3 gorgeous tastings per restaurant with cocktail pairing
Note: I highly recommend you experience the cocktails. Be careful you might be a little tipsy by the time you get to the second restaurant (so share the cocktails)...this is an additional cost, but worth it
1. Indigo hotel, Sugarsands restaurant
2. Blue Karma Hotel, Blue Matcha restaurant
3. Som Chai restaurant
4. Ona Eatery Canngu for dessert (phenomenal experience)
What I loved was the difference you felt at each venue and you could feel yourself absorb the atmosphere and just relax and enjoy it (or maybe you're just find yourself absolutely snozzled with cocktails and knew you gorged out on a truly divine experience
Go on...you deserve it
(I'm not sure if you will have the same tour, but I'm sure you'll have a great time wherever they decide to take you)

Our driver picked us up from our hotel in Seminyak and was a great English speaker. We also got a tour along the way of sights and local knowledge - fantastic.
The venues were just gorgeous for each of the settings. I required Gluten Free and did not have an issue with the chefs having an awesome understand event down to cross contamination!
Just be aware that sadly this safari did not include any traditional Balinese food locations - it is mostly Asian Fusion food (which is fantastic but when in Bali it would have been nice to have had a traditional meal as a part of this experience).
Each individual restaurant had it's own special feel and cocktails to pair with a dish are optional extras (for a cost).
All in all I would highly recommend this experience.

We totally enjoyed our Seminyak Food Safari, the venues were outstanding and each one was in an amazing location, totally different to busy bustling Seminyak.
The food was beautiful, desert was a little disappointing however, a tray of little cakes that were not that interesting, this was a let down after the first and second restaurants.
The company was great, we had a wonderful time meeting these new people. The only other disappointment was the Food Guide, she was quite sweet, but she didn't explain much about what to expect at each location or how long we would be there.
After reading other reviews it would appear this was a 1 off, unfortunately for us.
Would recommend to other foodies, we went on our 2nd last day, in hindsight a few days earlier would've been better giving us time to revisit restaurant #1 and #2.

Loved everything about our special night on food safari in Seminyak.
Watched the sunset at our first place in a beautiful location with appertizers, main course was at a stunning restaurant with amazing food, dessert was also great in the next location. The evening ran seamlessly and our guides helped make everything perfect.
So worthwhile, I highly recommend!

My second outing with Bali food safari over 6 years. Diff locations and such amazing restaurants. Blown away with these hidden delights in Seminyak. Amazing food and drink and the ambiance, views, and general feel of the places we went to were so amazing and breathtaking.
We are so full and so satisfied.
Wonderful Memories were made tonight.

12 dishes over 4 restaurants. Most dishes were very nice, one restaurant stood out, Kilo Kitchen if I can mention the name. One of the early dishes had uncooked pork, not good, but most dishes were very nice. Where the whole experience was let down was communication, we were simply transported to different restaurants, little explanation of what to expect, no clarification of how long we would stay which made it difficult to order an extra drink, it just lacked any real engagement. We’ve done a number of food tours around the world, some have had worse food but were a better experience overall.

Hello there. I'm from Bali Food Safari & would like to try and assist. Our pricing for all tours can be found on our website - per person it is AUD $149.50.
Bookings usually require a minimum of 2 people, but we can try to accommodate solo travellers by joining another tour. You'll need to email our tour manager - posting guidelines won't allow me to send you the email here, but you can jump on the Bali Food Safari website and use the contact page
Hope that helps!

Do you guys do pick up in Kuta for Seminyak now? I have just booked for January and see there is a Kuta pick up time, so I don't need to arrange a Seminyak pick up point?

Yes, they will pick you up in Kuta. I was in Sanur and they picked me up about 1 hour before the Safari started. It took about 45 minutes from Sanur to Seminyak and we arrived in
the first restaurant well before the sunset! You will love Bali Safari.

Hi There could be 7 ladies interested in this tour around middle of May 2015. What would be the price per person US or AUS dollars???? Thanks.

Email the guys at Bali Food Safari. There was two choices priced accordingly, a three venue (9 courses) and a four venue (12 courses) and the region you visit depends on your selections. You must let them know what your preferences are and if you have any dislikes and if you want to be treated as a party or are happy to mix it up with another group. Whilst it may seem expensive at first, when you take into consideration what the package provides, it is quite reasonable. If you like a drop of wine - Most of the venues we were taken to has Australian wine made in Bali. The wine is very good and because it is made locally from Australian grape juice it doesn't attract the 300% alcohol duty that imported wines get slugged with. Have fun.
