This was absolutely awesome, the scenery it to die for. The walk is well maintained and although tough, it is doable for the average person. Every step was an experience

We chatted with the ranger while paying the park fees and asked about the waterfall. She said there had been plenty rain recently so waterfall should be good. Drove the track to find the walk entrance barricaded with a no entry sign. Very disappointed

The whole of this area which effectively forms a backdrop to Swellendam is truly beautifu and the fact that in part at least it can be enjoyed for walking is a genuine bonus ! Beautiful !!

Lovely waterfall walk, about 1hr return. Up hill can be taxing for the unfit especially coming down if you have sore knees.

Did a lovely walk from Swellendam town up to the waterfall on Marloth reserve, well marked path in pristine forest. 6 year old managed the straight up and down walk no problem.

Did this trail over old years eve (2014) - it was amazing! We camped the first night - no actual camping area though and the ground was uneven with tussocks of hard grass which made for an uncomfortable sleep. I would recommend hiking a longer...More
