This former government building, an architectural treasure in itself, is now a museum containing some impressive artifacts. Particularly noteworthy is a collection of late 18th and early 19th century Cape furniture.

Nice collection of old buildings from the times of the Dutch settlers and their offspring, containing mainly old furniture and tools and the like, giving one a good impression of how they lived in 17th, 18th and 19th centuries.
