This is my favorite place to go hiking or trail running or bird watching in the Winelands. Peaceful and beautiful without bikes or dogs off leashes. Feel safe and comfortable. Crime not an issue.

There are several options to take, enjoy gentle walks or for the serious hiker a walk up the Helderberg. Take the children for picnics in summer or enjoy a sunset concert on a Sunday. There is a coffee shop to indulge in after a walk

They co-exist quite well, and are mutually beneficial! You do not have to use the restaurant if you do want to take your own picnic
