Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

From a locals perspective this place is an absolute gem! The staff are friendly and welcoming and the environment is relaxed and peaceful. But the best thing about it is the cheese platter! Wow !!!!
It is massive and delicious - the best cheese board in the wine lands to date. Highly recommend it !

This was our final stop on the Wine Tram route, and we had great expectations (wine, olive oil, food). If you're not familiar with Wine Tram, it's a (paid) tour service, where you have approx 1 hour to visit a given winery, and then you move to another one (time is a factor). On arrival we were greeted and told to pick a table in the garden. So we did. And we waited. And waited. Then we petted a small cute dog. And waited. Then we waited even more. All the waitresses were serving other people. Cute dog came back, so we petted it again. And waited.
After 25 minutes we gave up -- even if we'd be served at this time, it'd be way too late to enjoy the experience ("last tram is coming in 30 minutes" thing). I even tried to talk to the manager, but she was pretty disinterested ("oh, sorry about that").
And since it'd be pretty silly to wait for 30 minutes in the parking lot, we decided to walk back to town (around 35-40 minute walk, thankfully the weather was good).
Will definitely not return. Avoid this place if you're on the Wine Tram (if you're driving yourself you can tolerate the long waits and being ignored -- or can you?)

Wow! Best wines according to Vivino in Franschiek. Ask for Tzilka, she knows her stuff, she's very knowledgeable about the wines and very passionate. She has her favourites, go with them.....she knows her stuff!!!! Best vinyard on the green line. Do the cheese and the caramel. This is worth a 2 hour stop.

Some of our fellow Mystery Weekend goers recommended this lovely farm! There is so many speciality tastings to choose from! Thomas quickly recommended a system to give us as much exposure to the different options! With so much passion about the wine he took us on a journey of Wine and Caramel pairing followed by a taster of Honey Wine and ended of with lovely Olives and Olive oil tasting!

What a nice experience was had at this farm. Staff were still friendly and lively even though this was one of our final destinations on the wine tram experience and they must have had guests in large numbers throughout the day. There is live music! Need no say more. The music was to everyone's liking and created a great ambience. The sommelier was friendly and highly knowledgable. We did not do wine tasting here however and instead tried a unique South African concoction called "plodka", which is a plum vodka! It was strong... that's all I'll say on the matter. Would definitely recommend a try. The farm has roaming dogs, who are so lovely and do not bother you at all at your table. The little one even greets you at the door. Complimentary wines (red and white) were given to us on arrival. Mmm... Lovely.

Beautiful farm but service was very slow. Requires more attention to detail. We were planning to have lunch there but changed our plans immediately realising slow service. Loved the beautiful dogs on the farm. Beautiful grounds.

My husband and I visited this beautiful place yesterday and had lunch and wine there. We had been there the day before on the wine tram along with 5 wineries and this one was by far the best. The staff were unbelievably friendly and helpful. The garden setting was superb. 4 dogs milling around just added to the whole lovely experience. We ordered a plater which came laden with gorgeous food. There was complimentary wine to begin with, 2 glasses and then the glass of wine which came with the lunch itself. There was even a beautiful pudding which was delicious. The wine itself which they produce and sell was outstanding. We saw lots of people carrying around their boxes of bottles of wine which the staff even carried out to their cars or the wine tram. Altogether outstanding, cannot rate it any better. Lovely afternoon out.very relaxing. Perfect
